Background

There are several air compressors in a government hospital. The cooing system was seriously fouled by mineral scale in the past.

The heat exchanger for cooling was heavily coated by mineral scale which required frequent acid wash to the system. In order to minimize the down time of the cooling system, HydroFLOW is installed to see the descaling effect.

Result

After two months of operation without pre-cleaning of the heat exchanger, there was no mineral scale formed on the tube surface. The cooling efficiency to those air compressors can now be maintained.
